HISTORY

Built on Purpose, Grown with Vision

Built on Experience, Grown Through Discipline

Founded in 2003 by builder and developer Rick Simmons, Integrated Real Estate Group began with a focus on developing affordable housing through the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. Drawing from his experience in the luxury homebuilding industry, Simmons established the company with a vision to deliver high-quality housing while building a fully integrated real estate platform.

These early developments helped establish the company’s construction expertise, operational capabilities, and financial foundation while building long-term relationships across the housing industry.

Over time, this experience allowed IREG to expand beyond affordable housing into senior living and market-rate multifamily communities. By combining development, construction, and operations within a vertically integrated platform, the company has grown into a leading real estate developer across the Southwestern United States.

Today, Integrated Real Estate Group has developed and managed nearly 15,000 units representing more than $2.1 billion in development costs while raising more than $477 million in equity to support projects across its portfolio.
